Garforth hit the ground running on a balmy evening in Selby.

A few new faces made appearances in this first pre-season game ahead of the new campaign, but it was Matt Antcliff who made the headlines with a clinical hat-trick.

Toby Wells was called upon to produce a few fine saves, but the scoreline could have been greater, if shots from Tabish Hussain and Antcliff not hit the post and bounced out.

It's all about fitness at this stage and both teams will have felt it after this workout in the summer heat.

Garforth are next in action away at York City on Tuesday (11th July), in a game that will be played behind closed doors at Yorks' training ground.
