A warm welcome to Italian forward Dramane Coulibaly who has signed for the club. The 21 year-old, also known as ‘Abou’, previously played at ACD Pro Dronero in Italy’s Serie D and previous to that had trials with Genoa. Scored in his first team debut against Scarborough Athletic last week. Photo hopefully to follow!
The latest of last season’s names remaining in LS25 is Sam Leach. The full-back was one of Paul Marshall’s first signings back in October last year from Hemsworth and his committed performances have kept him firmly in the first eleven. Sam is enjoying a second spell at the club after playing for us back in 2016-17, and prior to that he played in York City’s academy.
Centre-forward Alex Burton also signs for another season. The strong-running 26 year old signed for us back in January from Selby Town and by the end of the season had scored three goals. He’s already found the net four times in pre-season and will hope to continue this into the 2020-21 campaign. Has also played at Pickering Town.
