Tomorrow afternoon sees Garforth Town kick off their final fixture of the 2022/23 season, making the journey to West Yorkshire locals Silsden AFC where the Miners aim to close their campaign on a high.

After successive 4-1 home victories over Bottesford Town and Goole AFC, Paul Marshall’s side will be in high spirits heading into Saturday afternoon’s tie - in which the Miners can secure a 4th place finish for the season.

Silsden find themselves in 12th position heading into the match with the potential to climb as high as 9th, although tomorrow’s opponents have another 2 rearranged fixtures to play through following Garforth’s visit.

A strong run to end the season has seen Town claim victory in 4 of their previous 5 games, whereas the opposition have struggled in the second half of the season and are currently on a streak of 11 games without a win.

Last time out, Garforth picked up 3 points with a 3-1 victory over the Cobbydalers at the Bannister Prentice stadium, with first half goals from Nick Thompson, Dan Coupland and Sam Barker proving enough to seal the deal.

3pm is the kick off time at the Office Interiors stadium.
