After an eleven day break from competitive football, Garforth are back in the thick of NCEL action, with an away trip to Handsworth FC.
Paul Marshall punctuated the long gap since the Whitley Bay FA Cup exit, with a friendly match against Selby, where fringe players and a few trialists were given a chance to impress.
Neither side have started this campaign the way they'd hoped.
The Ambers have registered two defeats from their two games played so far.
An opening day 3-2 home defeat to Golcar was followed by a 3-1 loss in the FA Cup at Barnoldswick. Mason Barlow had given Handsworth the lead in both those matches.
Last season this fxture was won by Garforth. The Miners digging deep to claw their way back from trailing 2-0 at half time. Goals in the last twenty minute from Rinor Ejupi, Charlie Marshall and Sam Barker giving a memorable victory.
