Tomorrow's game against neighbours Glasshoughton offers one more chance for manager Rob Hunter to look at his squad before the serious stuff starts in earnest this Saturday (doesn't it come round quick?!).
Our visitors - managed by Darren Holmes and Lee Vigars - finished 11th in Division 1 last season. Like ourselves they've had a mixed bag of results in their friendlies so far; in their last three they enjoyed an excellent win over Evo-Stik North Division side Ossett Albion but were well beaten by Midland League side Coventry United and, more painfully, local rivals Pontefract Collieries.
If most of our other friendlies are anything to go by, it should be a keenly-fought contest! Hope to see you there.
