The club is holding a volunteers day on Sunday July 2nd and all are welcome.
This is also an opportunity to get together, and for new supporters to feel a part of this great club, while making improvements to the ground and giving the community something to be proud of.
The aim is to paint the fences and other areas around the Bannister Prentice Stadium ahead of the upcoming season.
A big thank you must go to Ronseal, who have generously donated 270l of paint for the job.
Here's a run-down of the day...
10am - Gathering at the main entrance, briefing on the events' purpose and safety instructions
10.15am - The painting gets underway! Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own paint brushes. There will be a few spares available in case of emergencies.
Complimentary tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches will be on hand to appreciate our volunteers' hard work!
2pm - The newly refurbished club bar will be open, giving everyone a chance to relax (and possibly re-hydrate!)
Season tickets will be available to purchase and we'll also be selling match-worn shirts from previous seasons.
Please note that, whilst all are welcome to lend a hand, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Also remember to dress appropriately for painting (we'd hate to see your best GTFC shirt get ruined!).
