Rob Hunter's team will look to get over their FA Cup disappointment with a winning start in league football tomorrow evening.
Our hosts Albion finished in 8th place last season, and booked their place in the next round of the FA cup at the weekend by defeating North West Counties League side Nelson 2-0. Matches against our Bradford neighbours have rarely been straightforward, but we can look to our last visit to Throstle Nest on 24th September last year for inspiration. Goals from Mitch Hamilton, James Beaston, Mark Simpson and Vincent Dhesi gave us a magnificent 4-2 victory to end a barren run of seven straight defeats. If that and The Lions' 4-3 win on Cedar Ridge seven days earlier are anything to go by, it should be well worth the trip across to west Leeds.
