Garforth's fine away form continued as they sealed a hard fought win, on a heavy pitch, against an enthusiastic Newton Aycliffe side.
The visitors made a fast start with Charlie Marshall failing to covert several chances to give Town an early lead.
However, the net was found just past the half hour mark when Luke Aldrich produced a clinical finish in front of goal to put Garforth 1-0 up.
The home side seemed to raise their game for a short period as Garforth rode their luck to hold onto their lead, helped initially by the post and then Harry Flatters double save.
The hardworking home side started strongly in the 2nd half but rarely troubled Town's defence.
As Garforth began to build momentum Charlie Marshall made the scoreline a little more comfortable when converting an Aldrich low cross.
Substitute Joe Allerton's early contribution sealed victory with a composed chip over the advancing keeper following a defence splitting pass by new signing Oli Patrick. Newton Aycliffe scored a late consolation goal to deny the visitors a clean sheet.
